RDS collaborated with Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA) and Mary Tremonte from the Justseeds to produce a radiant street presence for Pride 2013. After a series of strategy meetings, we came up with messaging and graphics and went into production mode – screenprinting placards and posters with a dedicated group of volunteers. Some of these prints were used by QuAIA for fundraising. We also printed shirts and other fabrics on-site at the Dyke March and Pride Parade. Pride was the ideal event for this kind of live printing action because people were so willing to momentarily part with their clothing.
